Ray Gaddis is an eleven-year veteran of Major League Soccer, philanthropist and entrepreneur. Listed among the MLS Greats, Ray’s professional playing career has spanned over 300 games for both the Philadelphia Union and FC Cincinnati; two franchises he has helped lift their first Supporters’ Shield trophies in club history.

 

 

Ray was born in Indianapolis, where he earned All-American honors in high school and later in college at West Virginia University (WVU). He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from WVU in Multidisciplinary Studies and later earned his Master’s Degree specializing in Integrated Marketing and Communications. Additionally, Ray has completed the Harvard Business Crossover Program, where athletes are empowered to make better business decisions while becoming more well-rounded in their business acumen by working with MBA student mentors.

 

 

Off the pitch, Ray is an Executive Board Member for Black Players for Change; helping to fuel transformation within the collective soccer spaces and communities. He also served as an Executive Board Member for Learning Grove, a nonprofit organization, where he helps launch learning centers that functions as safe havens to provide innovative quality learning experiences that empower children, youth, and families across diverse communities.
